Information on ISOPP CAPhO 2025 SPTF and SSPTF
Symposium Planning TF (SPTF)
The SPTF produces, manages, and evaluates the Symposium in accordance with ISOPP’s mission and goals.
The objectives of the SPTF:
- Produce a Symposium that attracts Oncology Pharmacy practitioners from around world together to learn, discuss and network around clinical, research, and fundamental topics in oncology pharmacy
- Honor the local host city and country by highlighting the culture of the region throughout the programming
- Attract enough participants to ensure a budget surplus, acknowledging that the number of participants is influenced by the location, attractiveness of program, and other factors
- Produce an event that meets ISOPP’s standards for quality
- Ensure all aspects of the Symposium are well managed
Symposium Scientific Program TF (SSPTF)
The SSPTF develops the program of the Symposium, including setting the theme plus identifying, selecting, and inviting speakers. Manages the program during the Symposium and evaluates the program at the Symposium’s conclusion.
The objectives of the SSPTF:
- Develop a program that attracts Oncology Pharmacy practitioners from around the world and addresses timely topics presented by experts in the field
- Choose a theme and presentations that highlight current and upcoming key issues in Oncology Pharmacy that resonate to an international audience
- During the Symposium, moderate sessions and introduce speakers as needed, as well as other tasks as required
- Evaluate the success of the Symposium against established objectives
