For pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in oncology, undertaking research allows us to explore strategies to optimize cancer treatment regimens, improve medicines management, and enhance patient outcomes. ISOPP is passionate about promoting the research agenda and supporting our members on their research journey. Click on the links below to find out more.
ISOPP set up a research mentorship program in August 2024. We currently have a team of 15 experienced ISOPP researchers who are available to support ISOPP members to develop and deliver service evaluations and research projects.
The Research Committee coordinates all research focused activities within ISOPP, working with the Secretariat and other ISOPP Committees.
The Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice (JOPP) is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal dedicated to educating health professionals about providing pharmaceutical care to patients with cancer. As part of your no-fee membership you have full website access.
Research Grants may be available to support research focused on oncology pharmacy in pre-clinical, clinical, translational or practice-related areas.
