Summary of Committee Priorities for This Year

The ISOPP Engagement and Communications (E&C) Committee has set several priorities for 2025 to enhance engagement and improve communication within the ISOPP community:

  • A key focus is the upcoming member survey, scheduled for launch in January, aimed at gathering valuable insights from members as we mark one year since introducing no-fee membership
  • The Committee will encourage members to share their publications, with a renewed call to be included in newsletters early in the year
  • Raising awareness of important global events remains a priority. The Committee will prepare communications for World Cancer Day and identify meaningful activities ISOPP can support to further its impact
  • Social media updates will continue to play a vital role, with plans to share regular updates and monitor engagement trends through analytics
  • Another significant milestone is the launch of ISOPP’s new website, with the Committee on track for an early 2025 rollout. Volunteers will be organized to support the final stages of preparation
  • Monthly newsletters will continue to inform and connect members, featuring sections like "A Day in the Life" and event promotions
  • The Committee plans to review the onboarding process, ensuring it remains current and welcoming for new members
  • Volunteer coordination will remain a key focus, with efforts to direct support requests to relevant subcommittees to optimize contributions across ISOPP
  • Through these efforts, the committee aims to strengthen communication and foster a more engaged and connected ISOPP community throughout the coming year
