Secretariat
The Secretariat consists of a President, a President Elect or Past President (alternating every two years), a Secretary, a Treasurer and four additional Secretariat members.

Secretariat Information
The President shall be the Chair of the Secretariat, shall chair membership meetings, and shall have general supervision of the affairs of the Society. The President shall perform all other duties applicable to the office as set out in the bylaws, and such other duties assigned to the President by the Secretariat.
The Past President is to use this term to support the Secretariat and share past experiences of serving in the role of President. As requested by the President, the Past President may perform designated functions and have designated limited powers as the President as defined by the Secretariat.
The President Elect tenure is meant to facilitate a smooth transition of leadership of the Secretariat. As requested by the President, the President Elect may perform designated functions and have designated limited powers as the President as defined by the Secretariat.
The Secretary or designate shall attend meetings of the members and of the directors and be responsible for the oversight of comprehensive and accurate minutes of the proceedings. The Secretary will assure appropriate notification to the Secretariat of the place and date of meetings. The Secretary shall perform all such other duties assigned to the Secretary by the Secretariat.
The Treasurer shall have the care and oversight of all the funds and securities of the Society. The Treasurer shall be responsible for the Society’s funding strategy, financial planning and budgeting, and financial reporting. The Treasurer is Chair of the ISOPP Finance Committee.
A director has the obligation to initiate, fulfill, and actively contribute to the decisions made by the Secretariat. There are four on the Secretariat.
