This webinar, marking World Cancer Day 2025, highlights the importance of people-centred cancer care and the vital role pharmacists can play in this approach. It will explore how pharmacists can prioritize patients' needs and preferences in oncology care, collaborate within multidisciplinary cancer teams, and contribute to improving access to care, including through task sharing in low- and middle-income countries.

Attendees will gain practical insights into how pharmacists can support people with cancer, ensuring a personalized and empathetic approach to care that places the patient at the centre of the treatment process. This event aims to empower pharmacists to make a meaningful impact in cancer care.

In collaboration with FIP.

Moderator: Aline Hajj, Global Lead for Development Goal 10 - Equity & Equality, FIP; Professor, Faculté de pharmacie, Université Laval, Canada
