Education Committee
The Education Committee works to facilitate professional development by developing educational programs / resources, and overseeing ISOPP’s Masterclasses.
The objectives of the Committee are:
- Conduct periodic needs assessment
- Review available ISOPP educational materials and resources for its content, relevance, and applicability for members’ educational needs
- Oversee the development of educational materials / education platform(s) for topics aligned with ISOPP standards and current strategic plan
- Oversee the development of education framework considering platform, format, content, speakers / authors, fees for members and non-members (if applicable), certification for participants, compliance checks for speakers/authored materials and language translations, with specific consideration for materials to be developed by ISOPP or accessed via established platforms
- Oversee Masterclasses, which currently include safe handling, supportive care, oral chemotherapy, biosimilars, and immunotherapy, with consideration for developing additional masterclasses
- Form an Educational Grant Proposal Task Force as needed based on ISOPP educational priorities/programs and available grant opportunities
