The Saudi Oncology Pharmacy Assembly (SOPA) is hosting ISOPP’s first ever Saudi Arabia Regional Oncology Pharmacy Conference, scheduled to take place in November 18 (ISOPP Masterclasses) and November 19 – 20 (Conference), 2021 as a hybrid conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Overview: The theme of the SOPA / ISOPP Regional Conference 2021 is Advancing Pharmacy Practice and will discuss practice management dilemmas, scientific therapeutic updates, and opportunities research, given that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the field of oncology pharmacy has continued to evolve and expand with advanced therapeutic options and technologies. SOPA was founded in late 2018, as a subdivision of the Saudi Oncology Society (SOS), to advance the professional services provided by oncology pharmacy practitioners in Saudi Arabia and the region.

On April 24th, ISOPP wrapped up two great days of informative education, networking, the ISOPP Annual General Meeting, and a hotly contested virtual game as the ISOPP 2021 Virtual Symposium came to a close. It was amazing to see and chat with friends old and new from across the world whilst covering a broad range of interesting topics.
