Flying to Spain from anywhere in the world is easy. The Seville Airport, also called the San Pablo airport, is a first-class airport in a city with a long aeronautical tradition.
The Seville Airport is located ten kilometers east of downtown Seville. You can get to the centre of Seville in just 15 minutes by car or taxi/Uber, and just 35 minutes if you commute by bus.
Seville Airport (SVQ)
Seville Airport is around 12.2 kilometers (7.9 miles) from the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento Hotel, ISOPP 2023 Symposium venue.
Transportation between Seville Airport and Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento Hotel
- Bus: To go from Seville Airport to the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento Hotel, there is an urban bus transport line (Line EA) that goes to the city centre from 05:20 am to 00:50 am. From the station Santa Justa, the bus line C2 goes to th
e Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento Hotel (Juan Bautista Muñoz (Teatro Central) stop). The bus drive takes less than an hour (54 minutes) and costs €4.00 (single ticket), sold on board. An Uber costs between €16-€20 depending on the time of day.

Car Parking at the Hotel
Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento provides 105 on-site car parking spaces (2 of them for electric cars). The daily parking rate is €16.
Parking facilities are secure and under cover for your convenience and peace of mind.
The hotel is located just off the SE-30 making driving to and from the hotel very simple.
By Train
About twenty services run daily in each direction between Seville and Madrid, with a maximum journey time of around two and a half hours. The AVE (Alta Velocidad Española; a service of high-speed rail) also connects Seville with Barcelona, by way of Zaragoza, in around five and a half hours and with Valencia in a little less than four hours. The Santa Justa Station is located on Avenida de Kansas City, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the historic city centre.
Seville is also served by other long-distance railway lines that connect the city with other provincial capitals in Andalusia as well as with numerous towns and villages.
A good option for non-residents is the ‘Renfe Spain Pass’ that allows travel around Spain by train and can be used on all AVE long-distance and mid-distance high-speed trains. The pass is valid for one month from the first trip and is available for 4, 6, 8 or 10 journeys.

By Coach/Bus
There are two bus and coach stations in the city. The main one is on Plaza de Armas, offering numerous daily national and international services. The Prado de San Sebastian bus station operates scheduled regional services.
By Car
Seville is perfectly connected by road. A network of highways connects it with all areas: the A-49 links it with Huelva and Portugal. The A-92 links to Malaga and Granada. The A-4 arrives from Cordoba and Madrid and the A-66 connects to Extremadura and the north of Spain.
The SE-30, the Ronda Super Norte and the SE-40 are the bypass roads that facilitate movement around the city and its metropolitan area.
