A Webinar on ISOPP Standards--Oral Anticancer Therapies and Monoclonal Antibodies was held on Thursday, May 11, 2023.  Presented by Lisa Holle and Lynne Nakashima, the session provided the 113 attendees with an overview of the new standards on oral anticancer therapies and monoclonal antibodies that have been incorporated into the 2022 update of the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP) Standards for Safe Handling of Cytotoxics.

Lisa Holle, PharmD, BCOP, FHOPA, FISOPP, described the recommended standards for prescription content, dispensing, and monitoring of anticancer therapies and outlined optimal training and education about oral anticancer therapies for patients, caregivers, and staff.

Lynne Nakashima, BSc(Pharm), RPh, PharmD, FCAPhO, FISOPP discussed the evaluation of potential health hazards of monoclonal antibodies and explored safe handling and administration standards for monoclonal antibodies.
